Welcome to our atelier

This is where our wedding dresses come to life – from the first idea to the finished look. Discover the fabrics, craftsmanship and people behind kisui.

Inspiration

Every collection begins with ideas, colours, shapes – and above all, fabrics. Step by step, they become the starting point for a new kisui collection.

Design

Our designer Kerstin Karges develops the designs in Berlin. Fabrics, patterns and prototypes come together step by step until every silhouette and detail feels right.

Fabrics

Fabrics are one of our greatest sources of inspiration. We work with silk, viscose, lace, tulle and modern textile qualities, many of them from European manufacturers.

Lace

Many of our laces come from French manufacturers with a long tradition. From delicate florals to modern graphic designs – lace often defines the character of a dress.

New Materials

Every collection brings new materials and techniques: unusual textures, 3D details, embroidery or innovative fabric developments.

Cutting

Each dress is carefully cut using our own patterns. Fabric, pattern placement and every individual piece are checked along the way.

Craftsmanship

Many details of our wedding dresses are created by hand. Experience, precision and a feeling for fabric and fit make all the difference.

Production

Our wedding dresses are designed in Berlin and currently made in our own atelier. Our knitwear is additionally produced by selected partners in Germany.

Made in Berlin

Our bridalwear is made in Germany – and currently, our dresses are produced directly in our Berlin atelier. Many styles are only made once they have been ordered.
